Dr Michael Carr-Gregg leads investigation in to proposed smartphone ban in NSW schools

As one of the biggest issues plaguing children at schools today, NSW Education Minister Rob Stokes is launching an Australian-first review into phone use in classrooms across the state.

Child psychologist Dr Michael Carr-Gregg is leading the review which will examine the positives and negatives of the technology in schools.

He tells Chris Smith in the interview below “There is absolutely a problem.” I think a lot of the cyber-bullying is because kids have not been taught how to use the smartphones in a safe, smart and responsible manner.”
