At Cannon Hill Anglican College we have been at the forefront of the use of digital technologies. We embrace the opportunities these technologies present, but also recognise potential risks. The College provides comprehensive programs and policies to protect and educate our students on responsible use of cyber-technologies.

The College is partnering with Family Zone, a leading provider of cyber-safety and digital awareness services and currently utilises their School Zone filter for the online safety of students while at school. To complete the circle of safety for your student, you have the opportunity to set up a private Family Zone account. You can apply age-appropriate parental controls on every device your child has access to and in any location.

I would encourage you to consider setting up your family’s account. An Information evening is  taking place on the Tuesday, 22nd May 6.30-8.00pm. Cyber-Safety Expert, Brett Lee will presenting on that evening. Please register for this evening on the link above.

Brett Lee, Internet Safe Education
Parents have a right to know where their children go and who they communicate with. Parents whose family have been devastated by online issues who now use monitoring or filtering software would do anything to turn back time . They have told me so. Family Zone is an essential piece of the cyber safety formula.’
