Double click on the Installer you've just downloaded and follow the prompts to install the software.
Click the new Connect icon that will appear in your taskbar (for Windows), menu bar (for Macs) or browser (for Chromebooks) - then enter your account details and assign the device to your child.
Connect for laptops works best when children are logged in without device administrative access. Get help with configuring your Windows laptop, Mac laptop, or Chromebook.

This version of Connect for laptops is specifically designed for schools, and that means:
Provides DNS filtering only. DNS filtering supports content filtering only and is therefore most suitable for school time filtering.
Designed for school managed (i.e. locked down) devices. It can be used for BYOD, however anti-avoidance measures are not provided.
